Heather's Whatever Page

General Information

Well, I had good intentions for making some new items for this page but reality has finally set in and I realize that I won't do it. I would rather pet the kitties in my spare time. So, I will be adding some new pictures now and then, but not likely of new creations. Who knows what will show up next...

You can follow the links at the bottom of this page to see other items that I have for sale. I also sell some of my  items on eBay.

Planting New Pine Seedlings This spring we planted about 200 Ponderosa Pine seedlings in the wind break. For those of you who don't know the wind blows pretty good on the plains in Montana. We didn't get much rain this summer so Lar made a tank to hold water and it was my job to water them on occasion. I took some photos for you. On the other side of the windbreak is a hay barley field. Most of the big bales had been picked up by the time I got around to taking pictures. Lar's Case tractor hauls the water (one of 3 tractors he owns). Anyway, we are not sure it was worth the time and effort. Lots of the seedlings got bitten off by the deer even after Lar made wire cages for them. It was almost as if the deer thought they were marked just for them to eat. Others died from lack of water or who knows what.... but some are growing well and really looking good. Only time will tell if we did any good.

Broken Treasure Bowl Look at the face on this little guy. I think it is amazing. When I found him the pieces of his broken bowl were lying there and I thought it was beautiful. I put some other pieces in the bowl and put him in the bathroom.

6639. Quilted Cuff #3 Vintage Centerpiece I've had this little round piece for years. It is some kind of plastic and it was half of a broken belt buckle probably from the 40's. It's funny, the other side is the same pattern but the colors are different. Maybe one piece was in the sun and changed, anyway, maybe I'll put the other half on a bag, they are lovely. This cuff got pretty wide about 3 5/8". I'm not using any pattern so they just come out however they do. There are also some little brass pieces that I took off some old earrings around the middle. I'm kind of at a loss as to how to give a size on these since you can make it tight or loose with the velcro. I guess you'll have to email or call if you have questions.
