The helmeted bust at the top is hinged just bellow the shoulders, and the visor is moveable. The fob is unmarked yellow gold filled in excellent condition with virtually no wear. The enamel is excellent. A small notch has been filed on the edge of the back and is the only minor flaw on this fob. This fob is just about 1 3/8" from top to bottom, not including the loop. Ready for your watch chain or necklace.

Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen Watch Fob. This is a genuine,
antique watch fob for one of the early railroad unions, namely, the
Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. The fob measures 7/8" x 7/8" not
including the loop. The material is gold plated brass with a little
brass showing on the edges, and enamel. The enamel is very good with
one small damaged area below the red flag on the side with the blue
background, see image. This brotherhood was abbreviated both BRT and
BRRT as far as I can tell. This fob would normally be attached to a
watch chain. Scarce and collectible!

D417. Antique Heavy Sterling Watch PinThis is an early and very nice sterling watch pin in a fleur-de-lis style. The pin is in excellent original condition with black tarnish. This type of pin was made to wear on the breast with a small watch attached, normally, hung upside down. The watch was simply rotated up so the wearer could see the time. This is marked "sterling" and probably dates to approximately 1900
