Vintage SpiderwebTurquoise Silver BraceletThe bracelet measures 5 3/8" around the inside end to end not including the gap now at 7/8" and can be adjusted with care, about 3/4" wide in the middle weight about 19.8 grams. This has a beautiful triangular stone with two little hand stamped diamond shaped shields on either side. The twisted wire cuff is nicely finished at the ends. The bracelet has been left unpolished. $160 |

G269. Early Turquoise Cast? Navajo Buckle. This early cast buckle is signed sterling and has a clear and distinct hallmark that I cannot find in any of my references. I suspect this is Navajo in original although the overall style resembles Hopi work. The buckle is big and heavy: it measures 2 3/4" x 3 1/42" and weighs almost 94 grams, which is 3 troy ounces. Althought this buckle appears to be Hopi overlay, it is not. After studying this piece carefully, I think this was lost wax cast, then touched up with chisel work, and finally, the lighting pattern banding around the stone was worked with what appears to be a handmade stamp. This is an interesting and unusual style of hand work. The stone has natural matrix fill that looks like a fracture, but is not, and shows some ageing. This buckle is made for a belt width of 1 1/2" or less. My estimate for the age of this is the 1960s or the 1970s. If you have a reference that identifies the mark I would appreciate an email. $249 |

G353. Early Turquoise Cast Navajo Buckle. This early cast buckle is unsigned but is most likely Navajo in origin. The buckle measures 2 1/4" x 3 1/4" and weighs just over 74 grams, which is well over 2 troy ounces. Now, I have no easy way to tell if this is sterling (.925) or coin (.900) silver, but I can guarantee it is one or the other, and not some low grade nickel silver or anything similar. This buckle was sand cast then extensively hand finished. The stone has some old natural fracturing and shows some ageing. This buckle is made for a belt width of 1 1/2" or less. My estimate for the age of this is the 1960s, or possibly the 1970s. $149 |

d557. Vintage Petrified Wood & Silver Bracelet This has a great big old stone. Measures 1 7/8" wide in the middle and the stone is very much like a picture with the edge of a tree in the forground and wind blown trees in the background. There are some tiny marks that can be seen in the stone when it is held at a certain angle in the light. I don't know if these are scratches or part of the stone. They don't bother me at all. In any case I mention them so there will be no surprises. The stone and setting rest on 2 carniated stamped wires and a twisted wire in the middle all coming together at the terminals. Weight is 48.4 grams. It is aprox 5 3/16" around the inside not including the gap which now is at about 1". This can be adjusted with care. Unmarked or signed but guaranteed silver. $275 |

d343. Vintage Silver Turquoise Movable Turtle Pin This is a cleverly made little guy. His head and tail move. He has stamping on his back, feet and tail, two turquoise eyes and an oval turquoise set in the middle of his back. He measures about 2 1/2" tail to nose and just under 1 1/2" wide at the feet. Unsigned or marked but guaranteed to be coin silver or better. Left unpolished. $125 |

d720. Old Green Turquoise Satallite Ring A neat old ring size 5 3/4. Measures 1 1/8" long about 7/8" wide on top. Has a 4 way split shank and one large oval bezel set turquoise surounded by twisted wire and 12 tiny round turquoise, one of these having a lot of brown matrix. Unsigned or marked but guaranteed to be coin silver or better. A fine old ring. $110 |

d478. Signed Sterling Northwest Coast Haida or Tlingit Bracelet A fine large bracelet. It is slighly curved and the design definetly looks like bird wings on the ends, possibly birds facing each other on the front. Signed MAG STERLING and initials A L G? (it is a strange one) Measures 6 1/4" end to end not including the gap just under 1" but adjustable, and just under 1 1/8" wide in the middle. Weight 55.1 grams. A fine bracelet suitable for male or female. $375 |

b852. Men's Simple Stamped Sterling Cuff Bracelet Measures 6" around the inside with an inflexible gap of about 1 1/2" width 3/8". This is thick about 1/8" wide and a nice weight at just over 50 grams. Marked STERLING TAHE. $155 |

d179. Vintage Silver Turqouise Cast Ring This is a funny one. I put it on the ring mandrel one way and it is a size 10 1/4 the other way it is a size 11. So I'd say it is somewhere between the two. It has a wonderful classic design and a greenish turquoise with matrix. Top measures about 1 3/16". Weight is a little over 15 grams. Unmarked or signed. Guaranteed coin silver or better. $140 |

d380. Vintage Silver Petrified Wood Bracelet This is a nice handmade cuff bracelet, I'd say ingot. Measures 5 1/2" around the inside not including the gap which is now at 3/4". This can be adjusted with care. The bracelet measure 3/4" wide at the inside and has two stamped shields on either side of the stone. It is chizel split and has nice simple stamping. Weight is just over 28 grams. This one is good for wearing with others because the stone is the same width as the bracelet. Unmarked except for three scratched letters on the inside but guaranteed to be coin silver or better. Dates probably 30's to 40's. $175 |

d331. Old Silver Bead Necklace w 2 Turquoise Pieces This is a really sweet necklace made for a child I would guess since it is 14", though it could be worn as a choker. If I were to keep it I would restring it and add some length so I could wear it myself. The smaller piece of turquoise is a pale green and it has small bench made beads. I doubt the barrel clasp is original. Age unknown. $135 |
